Yes. I think we as women also try to try rationalize things and figure out why someone did what they did and try to solve and answer things.

Why don't you try to question that conditioning and break the cycle? You have freewill. Use it. People are lazy and just think they are on autopilot.

Exactly. If we have to make a lifelong sacrifice to ignore our urge to bang as much strange as possible. The least women could do is recognize this behavior and change it.

Eh. It’s a pretty big line. I’m talking major stuff. Once that has been crossed it’s not somebody I need in my life anymore.

i can deal with grudges

what i can't stand is the irrational "don't' try to solve my problems" stuff, aka, "just let me pointlessly bitch and waste everyone's time"

So let me ask you this, someone does something to you and burns you multiple times so you just rationalize it and forgive them? Or do you avoid that person, not giving them the opportunity to hurt you again?

And if your answer is no, then that my friend is a considered a grudge.

I don’t think that is holding a grudge. I think it’s more moving on and recognizing you’re better off without that drama. To me holding a grudge is saying you’re over it and every fight or argument you bring it up.

a. i try to limit that "multiple times" number

b. i pretty much always forgive people b/c i don't have high expectations of them and try to avoid letting their acts affect my emotions

and i've had people do some fricked up shite to me, like create a fake date with me in high school (back when i was emotionally unstable) only to give someone the opportunity to deface my mom's relatively new car (given that we grew up poor that was unfathomable to me)

LOL, no.

The petty crap I've seen women hold grudges about in the office is unbelievable. And it's mostly personal - women feeling dissed by other women.

They have a real hard time forgiving mistakes by other women and really take it personally.

Drama llamas.

My standard response when some of my employees come to me with this petty bullshite is "Not my circus, not my monkeys."

That makes sense.

I guess that case in point would be like I said earlier. I’ll forgive you but won’t forget and if you ever ask why I’ll dredge that up with the quickness. Not excluding pie charts and graphs.

I work with 98% women, and the fights and drama they create are both innumerable and epic.

This crap is the worst. I completely shut it down. It does not add anything to my day and makes my work life miserable. I much prefer to work with men. Way less drama.

the immediate reaction is rough but when you get more rational and find something close to clarity, you realize that their lives/soul must be truly pathetic to do something like that
