My father is a chain smoker but he is in the 10% of smokers that care about his appearance i guess. he takes 2 hours to get ready and he just went home to chnage is shirt because he thought is was checkered black and matched his pants (which are black). when he learned that hes color blind and his shirt was actually checkered navy blue he couldnt handle it. Had to go home. So, he might be an anomaly, but they do exist. heavy cologne user as well.
so he smokes and he's gay? i didn't think the gays were into smoking.

100% direct correlation between smoking and intelligence.

My folks smoked. Then they quit. They had no idea. I had no idea as a stinky little kid living in their house.

I truly believe
1) They don't care
2) Quitting is hard

Yes it is, but it's not near as hard to quit as people who fail at quitting say it is. And, this "if you quit you'll always have a desire to smoke again" is bullshite..Not only do I not desire cigarettes, I despise them.

Buddy of mine quit and still counts the days... he is somewhere just north of 1100.

both of my parents smoked in the house when I was growing up, and I hated the way I smelled when I would go to school and was ashamed by it. Luckily when they built a new house when I was 15, they only smoked outside so my clothes didn't smell like it anymore. They have both quit since then, but my father in law will sneak a smoke all the time and come in and pretend that I don't know even though I can smell it when he walks in the door. A woman smoking no matter how hot she is, is an instant turnoff to me.
I am equally as trashy as I dip when I am on the jobsite and on long car rides by myself, but never in front of my son or wife. I know I need to quit, but a 12 hour car ride by yourself, I need something to keep me awake.
They guy that had my company truck before me smoked like a chimney and it took me about 3 bottles of febreeze and other product to get the smell out, but on hot days it still has an ashtray scent. I just keep dryer sheets in there and it tends to kill the smell somewhat.

Exactly. They go from would wife, to just dateable/frickable.
Except Kate Beckinsale. She is the unicorn. If she still smokes. I’d buy her perfume and Tic-Tacs

they aren't even frick/date worthy in my book. I have no desire to kiss and arse tray.

There is a major difference between someone who smokes in their car/house and someone who only smokes outdoors.

That was a cigar at the Fairmont in San Francisco.
