No kidding. They used to be called Firemen, then they changed their title to "Firefighter" (name yourself after the part of your job that you do MAYBE 1% of the time, but okay...) in an attempt to appear more masculine.

Maybe "barbecuer/ basketball player" was too long

That scene is the only scene in tv that turned me red in embarrassment (for George).

So, true. Of course, I'm glad they aren't that busy with fires. And I'm glad we have them just in case.

Well...no. Keep stroking that ego though.

Between firemen, cops, and teachers, I don't know who's done a better job of carving out their little "look at me" space. Self-worship is gay.

EMS carries 2 blankets on their stretcher, a real light, blue one, basically just to cover someone, and a thicker light blue, to cover if it's pretty cold outside. They use them for several different reasons. Not a fire truck in Baton Rouge carries blankets that I know of

Its always easy to point out the pussies.

Doesn't have the balls, so he hates.

I'm not even mad because I know what kind of soft little boy you are.

i know of no self-respecting firefighter whose first impulse would be to cover up a naked or scantily-clad woman.

I have a friend who has been a cop for about 10 years since he left the Marines, I asked him about this one time. He said the women you find naked are NOT the type of women you want to see naked.

You nailed it. Your job is so tough and so dangerous that because you do it, you are brave and a hero. And because I think you're a douche for all the back patting, then I must not have the balls to do your job.

You are doing a pretty good job of proving my point:

--I need to feel special
--I do X
--If I can get people to think X is special, then I am special because I do X.

Sounds like someone who couldn't make the cut.

Honestly I do the job for the discounts I get....did you know cops/Firemen get into the Grand for FREE in Lafayette?!?! Freaking Military only gets a dollar off. Lucky for me Im both, yes that was a fricking brag because I need to feel special.

Maybe you can get a free drink from the food court at the mall if you do a good job at keeping the tables clean.

To answer the OP's question. Yes and No. We had big baby blue blankets that we covered people with when it was cold. We have a thin blanket that we cover the pt with no matter the temperature. Mostly to make a barrier between them and the straps on the stretcher.
