I was in a very bad wreck last year, and climbed out myself because I'm a goddamned man.

It was 30 degrees outside; I was in jeans and a tshirt; I gave my jacket to a smokeshow on the scene; my bloodpressure was 195ish/120ish; and I was not given a blanket.

I was told to sit, didn't, and I was given a beer and a cigarette by the firefighter.

They have the silver blankets or some carry cheap disposables which are similar but cheaper than the blanket an airline gives you.

None that I know of carry real blankets. Those have to be washed. Hospital grade linen can't be cheap to clean.

Hot women, children, and injured elderly are the only ones given jackets. Meaning the EMS's own jacket.

You should kys. I hope you never need a firefighter.

Why would I have a need for a fat guy who thinks squirting water on fire (still only < 1% of the job) is "heroic"?

And if for some reason I do, I'll be able to find one. They drive bright red pickup trucks with "I'm a firefighter" decals all over them. Pretty easy to spot...which is their intent.

Every ambulance should carry blankets. In a trauma where bleeding is a concern it is extremely important to keep the patient warm. If they get cold then later in the hospital as they get warmed the clotting cascade is screwed and they have a difficult time getting the bleeding to stop.

Talk about a "look at me" person.

If you weren't so caught up in your self and bleeding out your vagina you would of realized I never once said anything about what I do.

You're a pussy and you know it. You sound like the biggest whiny snot nose bitch

Some advice, being a little bitch boy and crying over the Internet makes you look dumb and most grown arse men are laughing at you.

Nothing you respond with is going to be worth anything to me so I'll leave the thread for good. Good luck growing up and respecting yourself.
