Yeah, this isn't ideal to say the least.

At work I try to avoid coming within 10 feet of another person. Preferably by avoiding being in the same room.

I seriously have to rethink myself at work. I am in sales and hugs are a form of hello and goodbye (women I work with). Now things will get weird when I stop. I know of one girl that already used sexual harassment against a colleague of mine merely because he made an off color joke while drinking with all of us and she doesn’t like working with him.

Don't worry men! This shite will stop quick once they get these sex robots to make sandwiches.

I remember reading an article from a feminist saying that we needed to ban sex robots for men because it was detrimental to women. I'm sure said feminist also supports every movement like the one in the OP too. These feminists simply want to punish men for being men.

So here is the problem- this will not stop sexual predators. All this does is make normal folks who interact in a very normal, non threatening manner nervous. It also is just giving women the ability to claim harassment because someone simply brushed their shoulder accidentally while entering the elevator, or walking around a crowded mall, or dancing at a concert.

I can't do this shite anymore. frick everyone.

You're smart enough to understand the concept of personal space. These comments about standing in line for concessions or sitting in a stadium are intentionally obtuse. I don't want a man or a woman violating my personal space unless I ask for it either.

Then the point should be gender neutral, not specifically mentioning that men should not do it to women as if it's exclusive to one sex by another.

Well damn, guess we can't go to athletic events or concerts anymore. We'll all be too close to women.

Perhaps feminists would be more comfortable in a burka?

Spot on. Creeps will continue to creep and the rest of us will get raked over the coals for their foolishness.

Don't think it'll get that bad, but it does give an opening to any woman (or man) who wishes to be vindictive about anything tangentially related to an individual they may dislike. Women tend to be more vindictive and capricious than men, so that could be a problem going forward.

Eh, just sit back and watch this one pass like everything that comes up in our everyday life reality show. In a few more months some new SJW movement will come about to entertain us all. It was police violence against blacks, statues, standing for the anthem, now this sexual harassment. Each of these special things seems big because it's talked about every where constantly, when in reality each only really only affects .00001% of the population. Each thing seems to fade away mostly after about 3-6 months of heavy coverage. I'm already bored with this one though, patiently waiting for the next big thing.

What about an elevator? A subway? How about when standing in line? What about a plane?

These rich dingbats are living in fantasy land.

The police violence against blacks movement has actually caused a rise in deaths of more blacks at the hands of other blacks. The effects of the BLM movement are still very much alive.

Exactly the point. We can say "use common sense when it comes to personal space" but the entire point is that it leaves the door wide open as to what exactly that means, and how do you prove otherwise in the event a woman accuses you. God forbid I have an interaction with one of these facebook feminists who hate all men, and she decides to use this moment to insert her female dominance over a man. That sounds crazy, but those people are real.

I get that the vast majority of this thread is hyperbole, but the fact remains that if a woman makes a claim, they are given the benefit of doubt. It has been that way for a long time, but it's much more worrisome in today's environment.

No they’re not bullshite. These feminists will ask for an inch and claim a mile. Ever heard of manspreading, the bullshite concept that men take up more space despite women carrying a purse everywhere? These feminists are dead serious about the 3 feet rule and will use it to their benefit, despite a dude doing nothing wrong.

How about this as the standard: don’t directly touch my face, chest, or nether regions regardless of your sex without permission? That seems pretty simple.
