My now wife (no pics) sent me pics of different rings that she liked after we had started discussing marriage. I just went to the jewelry place, showed the lady different pics, told her a price and she put one together for me.

My son got hurt and has to sit out the rest of football. AC joint separation.

He missed his only field goal attempt of the year.

I don't know why anyone does it differently.

I was much more thoughtful than that, but the results may have been better that way.

I'm thoughtful in a lot of ways. That does not extend to material things. I'd rather know and be a robot than try to guess and look like a dumbass.

If he taped that ring to a football, would it affect his sons ability to kick a 75 years FG?

Go look and see for yourself

I don't know about most. I can just say that my wife is an elementary school teacher (so hopefully she's not in the market for student love) and decided that with dealing with kids all day and working out a silicone ring is really what makes more sense. I got one earlier and really like it so she was sold; I'm not threatened...

My husband got what he could afford at the time. I absolutely love my setting and would never want to change that.

My center stone is half a carat. I wouldn’t object if he ever wanted to upgrade the center stone as an anniversary gift one day later on.

But would never want a totally different ring. That’s the ring he proposed with, too much sentimental value.

I'm sorry to read that.

I'm guessing they probably just disbanded the team?

I do not know any..

I know several successful; couples whom got married very young with a very modest ring. All still have and wear their "diamond chip" rings as they have said jokingly. For them, sentimental attachment supersedes a 4 carat center stone.

He was QB1 / RB1 and scored every single point for his team. They lost 48-0 last night without him. First shutout of the year.
