The closest thing I have to a platonic female friend is a cousin. We grew up together and she ended up marrying one of my friends and has become one of my wife's good friends. She's attractive but we're not Gumps, so it works.
But I agree. It is almost impossible for a man to have a completely platonic female friend.

No, as shitty as it sounds, there are 3 types of women:
1. Currently Together with / fricking.
2. Not fricking but would given the chance and 0 consequences
3. Don't want to frick because they are ugly
Now most men can understand that these are baser urges and contain them and act civilly, but ladies: If you are reasonably attractive and have a friend who Is a straight male - he would frick you if you let him.
If you asked, even a committed "friend", if he would like to have sexual relations with you, his answer would most likely be "now?" before his brain catches up to his dick taking over for 2.2 seconds.

Even with this being true for most men, it doesn’t mean that they don’t willingly have platonic friends. If I’m open with a guy and tell him I’m never having sex with him....most are not going to act like a little kid and tell me we are no longer friends. He stays as a willing participant in a platonic friendship.

Eh, I think that the very fact that you are having this conversation with a guy means you've thought about it, and they know that.

**for the purposes of this discussion, I'll attempt to suspend my belief that you're 1000000% full of shite**
When would this EVER come up in normal platonic conversation?

Never said I hadn’t. Still doesn’t prove men don’t willingly have platonic friends.

Because as friends we have discussed sex....in discussing sex lots of things come up.

if you had to come out and declare intent to bang/not bang, someone proposed the idea of it
this negates the idea of willingly being platonic
JESUS.

I bet you’re that type that says “I don’t have many female friends because women can be bitches and get alone better with my guy friends because they much more chill”

I didn't intend to suggest that men and women can't be friends. Of course they can. I just think that men usually start out a friendship with a woman with the intention of having sex and it doesn't work out for them.

Your contempt for me is absolutely pointless and you either need to stop or find a different outlet.
Platonic means intimate and affectionate but not sexual. We are very close but have never been sexual. We have a platonic relationship. Doesn’t mean sex has never come up. It’s also not as black and white as me saying “btw, we will never have sex”. It was mentioned in a relevant situation.

I actually have a lot of female friends. Luckily none of them are bitches like the “mean girls of the OT”. But, I like girls and guys equally....as long as they are nice.

He is holding out hope that either you change your mind or you slip up. It is not because he enjoys your conversation.

Do you want to be friends? I'll prob think about doing you all the time but I'll keep it to myself.

My contempt isn't a finite resource, so you can stop feeling special now.
You should really think about treating yourself to therapy... maybe y'all can chat about sex after you lay the ground rules about how you're not going to put out.
