In North La, we have a few.

Two years ago Hurricane Harvey pushed them to North La and in all my years it’s it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

It was biblical.

They filled the skies and every gas station smelled like rot from people cleaning their windshields.

Those are some annoying POSs! I ran into a mess of them this year between Wetumoka and Clanton as in years before but they pretty much confine themselves to Clanton and points south thank goodness They will mess up your car with the quickness!

Old people say a lot of love bugs mean it will be a bad hurricane season.
A side note, a wet fabric softener sheet is the best way to clean them off your vehicle.

That is what you call an excellent PR cover-up.

I bet you think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone too.

We have a few in the delta this year, which is fairly uncommon, but it’s not too bad. South of I-20 can be a cluster frick at times though.

Drove from Georgia to half way across Alabama and back on Friday. Vehicle was covered in love bug guts. Had to get it detailed yesterday.

Yes, and I would rather them than the formosan termites (frick those swarming assholes!).

I hadn’t even heard of them until a couple of weeks ago. Just moved down to Alabama and heard people talking about them. Played in a golf tournament yesterday and those frickers kept getting all up in my face and landing on my ball while I was trying to swing.
