Did you buy the watch from them?

Are you paying them to take them out? If so I can’t imagine why you would tip in a situation like that.

Nope. My jeweler (Hale's Greenville, SC) would laugh at the thought.

No

Edit: they make so much money anyways a 10 might be insulting and a 20 is too much imo.

Are you paying? Are you keeping the links or letting them keep them?

I'm leaning no but you offer up details like you're my wife.

It took them less than 10 minutes to pop the pins out, remove the links and slide a pin back in. Did they clean the band or anything else? I wouldn’t expect a tip, nor would I feel prompted to give one, especially if that’s where I purchased the watch. They already made 200% on you.

What would tOT know about this? No OTer gets linked removed we all have to have links added because our wrists are 9.5" built up over the years of warming up with 12 plate deadlifts without lifting straps. The average OTer can crush a stainless steel ball to the point it becomes a black hole.

Absolutely no. This is a fully safe no tip situation.

Every time I have had this done, I ask what I owe and they tell me it is on the house.

If you cut off the post here it's actually pretty accurate

If they charge you for it, no. Otherwise, yes.
