If they do, what do they dream about? How do they know what they’re seeing is something that’s accurate?

They don’t see. They’re blind.

I have always wondered this.

You can describe what a car looks like and they can even feel an automobile.

But if they dream of one what does it look like to them.

This thread is brought to you by google. Answering questions that don’t deserve an entire thread since the 20th century.

Nope. In blind people, the part of the brain that is responsible for dreams in sighted people is repurposed and handles knowing when to stop wiping when they take a crap.

I assume you mean blind from birth? Maybe they only dream of sounds?

Knew an old lady who went blind early in life. She said dreams were so wonderful for her because she could see in her dreams. She would dream about what she remembered from decades earlier.

She also said that noises made certain color sensations. Loud noises looked bright silver.

That’s pretty wild to think about.

Blind people must have a vivid imagination

I cannot even comprehend what would be going on inside a blind person's head on shrooms

I saw a blind guy with one of those three blind mice walking sticks go through TSA security this week. As he was walking away, he walked into one of those grey benches where people sit to put this shoes back on. He had the cane thing in his hand and was not using it - not sure why.

Felt kind of bad for him. Could have asked him about his dreams had I seen this thread first.

If they’ve been blind from birth they dream of sounds, tactility, same stuff they would encounter in their everyday lives.

I've never done any psychedelics, but have also pondered this.

In the past two days I've learned that blind people see noises as colors in their head and that only high end escorts will stick around for the full hour paid if you jizz early. This place delivers answers to the tough questions every so often.

If they were blind from birth, there’s no way they’d have anywhere close to the same dreams as those with sight

A better question is how do blind people, from birth or not, know when to stop wiping?

I believe I've already addressed this.
