I don’t know if they get preferential treatment when it comes to hiring but I do know not to piss them off, especially if said woman weighs over 200+.

I suppose it depends upon the circumstances (for example: the "need" for quota based minority hiring...especially by governmental entities). What I do know is that my administrator (who may be an example of this phenomenon) noted that I have a good REPORT with others. FWIW, she also noted that the subject matter that I reviewed lacked rigor (it was designed by Harvard BTW). Quite frankly, I think it was just over her head. On another note, another coworker of mine (also a black woman) is quite brilliant and works her arse off.

My wife works in a very professional place of employment as a very high manager. Their worst night mare is a black woman employee.....they are notoriously lazy, and have the biggest "you owe me" chip on their shoulders. And in the end it is purely impossible to fire them. I.E.

Woman throws an object at another employee in fit of rage and storms out of work leaving all her responsibilities on other employees, which is against nationa policy in this field. Wife is forced to "write her up". Wife ends up being involved in some sort of investigation to prove she's not racist for writing the woman up who assaulted another employee. Black woman gets off Scott free. So as someone who directly hires people do you think shell ever hire another black woman?? And this happens at minimum three times a year, same story different black woman involved.

And this matters how??? Point is they and their actions are untouchable as companies are scared to death to be sued. And they know this and take advantage of it.

If you've ever seen how the federal government handles affirmative action investigations... you'll know how much of an advantage minorities get.

Especially in the upper level positions.
