Definitely. Tell everyone that. Get the frick out of here. If I have to deal with anymore assholes on I65 from Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, or Pennsylvania clogging up the fricking lanes I will end up committing murder.

I get tired of sweating outdoors all the time, but thankfully we live in a time of AC.

You know, way back in the day before AC, families with the means would own homes way away from cities to move in the country in the summer months.

There is so much one can do here.

I'm tired of the heat and lack of scenery. I want mountains to look at every day. Hell even the mountains in north Georgia would do.

Rather deal with the humidity of the south than live in a liberal state in the north. Plus dip is higher up north. frick paying 2 bucks more for a can.

Dipping is so hillbilly trashy

Also...there are more areas of the U.S. besides the northern and southern states.

There are tremendous amounts of biological/scenic capital here. The Mobile-Tensaw Delta is the most biodiverse area in all of North America.

The Appalachian chain is unmatched in North America in terms of beauty and life. I love the Rockies and offshoot chains, don't get me wrong, but they aren't teeming with life in the same manner. The Rockies rise out of the Earth with a fierce, rocky defiance - "frick you, I'm here! I have all the turbulence of a hormonal teenager." But the older, vibrant chains of Appalachia have a subtle, knowing quality about them - the defiance has been worn down and replaced with all manner of life - covered with fauna and flora to an incredible degree.

I did some training at Ft. Bliss earlier this year and a sleeve would have cost me almost 30 bucks. The price is about the same here in DC. I just to Virginia and it is 13 dollars cheaper.

No, but I’m glad when I moved south I settled on North Carolina. If summer was any longer I might get annoyed with it. I quite like the climate here. 4 seasons but winter is really just an extended fall with a few actual winter days sprinkled in here and there. I love the typical 50 degree Jan/Feb day here.

I agree. I won't deny my sentimentality. When I see the peaks and valleys of Appalachia, I feel a peace and belonging that I don't get in places that are objectively more beautiful.
