What they did to him is not right. They told him he can play and they were ready to make him an example as soon as he entered australia.
Australia is lost. Vaxx or Unvaxx is a different story. This was handled badly.

That's a good point. If it's such an imminent health crisis, then don't play the tournament. But, playing it at 50% spectator capacity and requiring vaccines when 90% of the population there has them and they are experiencing record case numbers is ridiculous.

The best news is that despite all attempts Australia is still suffering from COVID. That’s a sad statement but the old skeleton we have in the WH wishes he had a successful precedent which would allow him to frick us too

It's more than that, but if you actually used critical thought instead of being dismissive because Australia is a good example of a very heavy handed government using covid as an excuse to strip away civil liberties. Our own country isn't too far behind Australia in that regard, so yeah it does help to pay attention to what's going on.
