You cannot increase the concentration of something by adding more of that something, you can only increase volume. The molarity of water stands only for the molecular weight of H2O per liter. THAT IS IT...not what concentration of water is dissolved in water. That is nonsense that a child could reasonably put down.
First of all, yes you can in general, more salt added to water increases the concentration and volume.
In the case of water, you are correct. you cannot concentrate it more, because it is saturated with water already so only volume increases.

molarity does not change its definition because you are referring to water.
molarity is moles of SOLUTE/LITER SOLUTION. water has a molarity. if water was not a solute then water would not have a molarity.

thats like the most basic example of H-bonds. Water. Day 1 stuff man.
ETA - I was never talking about just 1 molecule of water H-bonding. Nor did I refer to just 1 molecule of it, like at all.
Water H-bonds and has vanderwaals interactions with water. that was your definition of solvation.

Yep. It sure can be a solute or a solvent. That doesn’t mean water can solvate the identical water
Now, if you want to make the argument of fresh and salt water, sure. But identical water cannot solvate itself

Except it does. Its a rudimentary equilibrium concept see below and notice there are no other salts added. Just water + water.

Notice Ions forming, Van der waals forming. Changing bonds and forces means rearrangement. Hydration shells around the ions. Water dissolving in water.
