The 529 is associated with the kid's SSN. If any withdrawals are made that aren't on valid expenses, the extra 100k IRS workers that Biden hired will find it, I'm sure.

As other posters have asked, how did she get five days in jail for contempt? That will reveal why she's an awful person.

You can work a little on disability. You just can't earn over a certain amount.

Yet she works enough to support her husband, daughter and own a million dollars worth of property?

If i had to guess, she is probably lying about all of it. Like how OP already caught her lying about losing everything when she kept the house and land.

The IRS employed about 103k people when Trump took office. They’re currently down to nearly 75k

But don’t let the facts get in the way of what you feel snowflake

This. To get five days as a participant in a civil case is extremely rare.

Sounds like she wanted the home and certain other assets that were community property. As a result, she had to give up other assets to pay for those assets and she’s now bitching and complaining about having to give up those assets. For the most part, she wouldn’t have to give up any of the assets that she brought into the marriage. Further, she could’ve just split the remaining community property assets, sold them, and split the proceeds.

Having said that, it sounds like she just has bad judgment in men. She shouldn’t have married a deadbeat.

A good friend of mine who makes damn good money is in a similar situation. I keep telling her to put two sets of papers in front of her husband – one set is divorce papers, and the other set is a separate property agreement. Just let him choose. She wants to, however, she’s terrified to leave her 11-year-old daughter with the lazy a-hole for any significant amount of time. And she’s also afraid that a court may award him joint custody together with large child support payments rather than making his arse get a real fricking job that is something more than a low paying hobby. In the meantime, she’s basically losing half of everything she works for.

She's dog ugly. Loudmouthed, (hard of hearing) butch haircut. No man would give her a second look, so I'm ruling out an affair.

The only correct answer is, "I don't care what happened because it is none of my damn business."

Next time somebody gets engaged, remember all this and don’t say ‘congratulations’ ask ‘why?’

How is someone receiving disability payments also the major breadwinner?

I'm melting over here. I was referring to the funding he approved to expand the workforce of the IRS, but I know you knew that.

I would think the divorce rate for a couple like this has to be several times higher than the average divorce rate.

As someone else pointed out, there's a good chance this is military.

This definitely checks the military box. A military 8 is a real life 2.

So, she was by far the major breadwinner all of their marriage and brought family money in as well, he just dabbled in real estate from what I could tell.

So she basically got half after being the one to earn most of the assets and feels like the courts screwed her over? Now she knows how 99% of men have felt about family court for the last 70 years
