Someone mentioned the VT sub. Here’s the comment they’re probably referring to. There’s others but this is the most informative:

Additionally, rapes and other assaults have been reported at this location as well. With all of this, El Centro has never lost their ABC license, or faced any consequences that I am aware of. It makes you wonder, how are they getting by with all of this misconduct? Rumor has it, Jerry had ties within the Blacksburg Police Department. With this knowledge (understandably, speculation), I wonder how this investigation will be handled and if what truly happened June 1st will come to light. Regardless of what Jerry Smith may have been into, murder is a cruel fate and I am not saying he “deserved” what happened to him. But I just wanted to share the information I have of the victim prior to the incident, as I feel like it is a crucial piece of this investigation.

I think it's an overcharge honestly.
That is a heat of the moment total mindfrick and the guy felt he was sexually violated, lost it, and snapped. He didn't know the dude would die either, despite his injuries. Temporary insanity or something. I bet he gets manslaughter or something and gets 10 years tops.
That is so fricked up.
I guess the reason for the charge is because he didn't call for help, but I mean, I can't blame him for beating the guy up. I would. He just should've stopped after a few punches.
I hate to think what I'd do in that situation. I'd snap too.

Hate to tell you fricknuts, punching and kicking someone in the head over and over and leaving them choking on their own blood is leaving someone for dead. This guy knew exactly what he was doing and didn’t give a frick. It’s called having no respect for human life.

Beating someone up in a bar fight and kicking them in the head and them dying usually results in a manslaughter charge.
This guy was sexually violated (twice) and lost his shite. I bet the charges get reduced. Isn't there a temporary insanity defense that could work here to at least encourage the DA to lower charges? Not to mention locals saying he was a sexual predator.

What's rather interesting is earlier this year a law was passed (possibly in Virginia I think) that outlawed using "tranny shock" or something of that nature as a defense for murder.
