Except make King Neptune a transgender who was at one time Queen Neptune. Then Ariel can get knocked up by the prince and decide she really doesn't want a baby, and go have an abortion.

Well, King TRITON is actually Ariel's dad and it's going to be really interesting if Disney completely re-writes Greek mythology and makes him a brotha.
