Because we said nothing for 2 decades in order to be accepting of peoples sexual orientation all while knowing it was just a matter of time before they started going after children, which they have been doing for years already more and more.

Nope. I don’t let my kids watch it at all. I had a friend warn me. Even though it was a background character that had no affect on the story line.
The point of my argument is that this crap has been out for years and now people are arguing about it because Disney vows to do it - it’s already been done, a lot. And the new Lightyear movie is rated PG-13 - so it’s not for little kids anyway. Or that’s the excuse.

Disney has been hugely pro gay for decades. They did not push it to the public, and even lied aboot it. (They used to claim they didn't sponsor, or support Disney Gay Days. They did. Within a year, the Alphabet kids will force Disney to have gay stuff in every project, as well as in the parks.

This is being made far too big of a deal. Disney is a private company and can produce whatever the hell they want within the law.
I will spend my money elsewhere. If 100 million people disagree and want to see this and spend their money on it then my values are outnumbered and I should probably decide to live elsewhere.
