re: Discovery Plus is trying to teach your kids that Abe Lincoln was gay

There has always been speculation that he was gay. For years you’ve had Log Cabin Republicans.

He did have a friend he traveled with and they always shared a room but of course that wasn’t uncommon back then for heterosexual men.

Hey I get it, he's no hero of mine either.

My issue is this stuff gets repeated and all the sudden its on a documentary for kids on Discovery as accepted "fact".

If no one calls out the BS it becomes the new history.

Maybe he was gay, maybe a lot of people were and kept it on the down low back then? Who knows.

But without evidence its just romantic fiction for people with a political or cultural agenda.
