Which were you taught as the correct spelling?

I have never, ever seen it spelled dilemna.

Your lack of proper spelling has created quite the dilemma.

If I had to guess, some people may have gotten the false spelling "dilemna" stuck in their heads when they were learning cursive, because the mm and the n are next to each other and very similar.

I was taught "dilemna". Teacher must have been smoking weed.

Dilemma
It's Greek for two propositions or alternatives
Di - two
Lemma - propositions or alternatives
It's a little too late to change it

We had an entire Mandela effect thread yesterday.
Dilemma is not part of it
Dilemma is not part of it

Yeah this is one that I was not affected by. The Forrest gump, field of dreams, and star wars one (c3p0's silver leg) sort of had me thinking though.

I can't recall how exactly I would spell it before this question was posed, but part of me definitely feels like at one time it could have been "dilemna."

Is this the same as the Stepbrothers scene in the job interview with Pam?
Posted on 8/12/16 at 2:58 pm to LSU1NSEC
why would there be a silent "n" in a word?

It’s not just in English that the problem is known. In French it sometimes appears as dilemne instead of dilemme.
