i assumed the march was for Women's Rights.
were they celebrating the fact that woman in this country have the same rights as men no mater race, religion or sexual preference or were they marching because they want more rights?
Im confused when you say the march was "for woman's rights"

Apparently a tax on tampons is oppressive to women.

It accomplished what it set out to do - get more people talking about Women's Rights.
If the aim was starting a conversation about women's rights, it seems pretty self defeating to make the whole march about Donald Trump.

My girlfriend marched with a group of her friends. She had to see her mom get beaten by her dad for her entire childhood so violence against women is an important issue to her. That was one of the main things they were trying to bring attention to. But frick her for wanting to stop woman beating right?

Bring attention to what? That domestic violence exists, and it's a shitty thing? That's not a new revelation.

Yeah, if only there were laws against this, right? I know holding up signs saying "frick Trump" really highlights the woman beating issue.

It's strange how you laugh at yourself.
You must be a joke.

I watched it and tried to make it sound like she was whispering "pussies" to me, but I am old and stupid and could not do it...

I have to say, there's a lot of melting over other people melting going on in this thread.

no way man, violence against women only started once trump was inaugurated.

I'd have to say that your perception is valid.

This. Say it again for the people in the back.

assuming women are treated equally because it says they should be on paper is awfully ignorant
