Mine doubled...Shopped it out and got back to my original costs.. but did have me puckered for a bit.

Mine more than doubled. No claims in the 5 years I have been living here.

I'm in the business. Some carriers did raise rates tremendously, but some were only modest.

The bigger issue is the number of carriers has decreased drastically. We went from having eight homeowners carriers in 2020 to only a few

How is this not illegal? I get it’s a risk/reward type system based on probability. However, you also bought into their insurance pool by paying premiums. It’s not like they have to cut you a check for never having a claim.

I’m thinking there may be a lot of this. May want to see if having your vehicle and home insured by the same carrier will help.

Nearly doubled.

Switched and got it back to last years premium.
