I think it's more common in the rural trashy areas. Not so much in the city unless you're urban.

I've never heard of this.

The only time I've ever heard of it has been on this board a couple of times.

I still have never seen one.

We had one that neither of us asked for. The band called us up to the front and started playing so we just rolled with it. No regrets

I did not, but don't have a problem with people who do. No one is forcing you to take part in it.

Yep. Trashy. Those same couples will be hanging monogrammed flags outside their cookie cutter in no time.

Why the frick would I monogram a confederate flag?

It's not trashy :lol

Y'all are some real assholes. It gives all the women a chance to dance with the groom and all the men to dance with the bride.

Wanna dance with them for a few seconds and wish them well? Pin a little cash and that covers the admission to the dance.

No. But our registry was a GoFundMe page on a computer we set up at the front door of the church and reception.

It's an old time coonass thing that a lot of non old time coonasses (trash) picked up on. If you come from a legit old time coonass family (and your mamma, grandma, and grandma's mamma had money dances), you get a pass. Otherwise, you're probably just trashy.

We would have but she was too pregnant to get up on the pole. It's a damn shame too, she borrowed blue tassels just for the wedding.
