I'm going to rent myself a house
In the shade of the freeway
I'm going to pack my lunch in the morning
And go to work each day
And when the evening rolls around
I'll go on home and lay my body down
And when the morning light comes streaming in
I'll get up and do it again
Amen
Say it again
Amen

I'm going to pack my lunch in the morning
And go to work each day
And when the evening rolls around
I'll go on home and lay my body down
And when the morning light comes streaming in
I'll get up and do it again
Amen
Say it again
Amen

If kids actually knew what adulthood was like, they wouldn't be in such a damn hurry to grow up. Jobs, relationships, kids, aches and pains, hair sprouting up where it's not supposed to...

When you get to the point where you don’t have to work anymore, work becomes much more meaningful and productive. Wish I realized this much sooner.

I don’t have to do a damned thing. What I want to do is to continue to build a business and legacy for my family.

16 hours awake with no work is a lot of time to fill for most anyone. I wouldn't know what to do.

Very true. I think of calling it quits but I want to stay involved on some basis. Would need to feel like I’m doing something worthwhile with my time. I have plenty to do outside of work so it might not be an issue.

I want to be a happy idiot and struggle for the legal tender.

Yeah. I’m willing to put my name on today.

I'm gonna be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Thought true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the Pretender
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Thought true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the Pretender
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender

Yes. I am so thankful that I love my job. Most everyday my wife asks "how was your day" and my answer is always great, fantastic or something in between. Life is good!!! And to top it off she loves her job.

Welcome to day 2. By now you had your meetings and got a todo list handed to you. Did you get all of it done?
Econ 2020 during a lecture about cost-benefit and shite like that, the professor asked us why we spend time and money going to college?
I was ready with this answer.
"Well when we're boys and get our license we scramble to get a job to earn money so we can put gas in the car to date girls. When we turn 18 we can get better jobs to buy a better car and date prettier girls.
Then most of us go on to college so we can get really good jobs so we buy fancy cars, date hotter chicks, and have a house we can bring them back to."
He liked it. The sluts in class not so much.
