What if your SO's Dad is a worthless POS and you nor her GAF what he thinks?
Still ask him out of respect if you see him occasionally?
What if we are already living together?

then your marriage is probably already fricked before it even starts.

Nope. Building up my marquee value so when my keeper chooses, I'm her best option and therefore chosen.

so you're not married then? OK, how old are you?

bro, youre so alpha.
when her dad walks her down the aisle at your wedding, you should just shove him out of the way and say "she is mine now, fricker"

waving and shaking hands was to show the other person that you were unarmed and not going to murder them.
Silverware has blunted points and rounded edges (for knives) because in the Middle Ages, too many people would get angry during feasts and murder each other with their cutlery.
The best man had to do with raiding and pillaging villages as a bachelor party. I believe the best man got his first choice on which women to rape and had the privilege of leading the attack because the groom was already spoken for.
There's 3.
I had handshakes and dinnerware. Didn't know best man one, but not surprised

intersesting theory. He hasn't always been one, was good when they were kids. Had a mid life crisis after the kids were gone. Still fricked, Dr. Phil?

I ain't marrying him. You going to marry her if he says no? That's disrespectful too. It's a lose-lose.
Posted on 6/26/14 at 2:44 pm to gamecocks22
i dunno, thats a toughie.

thats why you spell out your intentions instead of asking for permission.

Rest of her family is awesome, Dad has lost it lately. I've thought about this before, would it be weird to ask her granddad? He is pretty awesome.

It't not so much asking a yes or no question as it is showing you aren't a pussy who can't even have a grown-up conversation with the girl's father. I have never heard of a father saying no and it is probably because most fathers would weed out the dipshits before it would even get to the point of discussing marriage.

is she close to him, like really really close? did he become her father figure when her dad split?

A prissy like him will never understand. He was probably raised by effeminate or women

Yes, I just think its the right thing, assuming they have a healthy relationship.
