I’m in BR. I don’t really pay attention to water bill. But there is a pretty big spike it seems for trash and sewage.

Or I’m wrong, but wanted to confirm

It’s just like when the electric company charges you for hurricane fees, they got you for corona fees

Just checked mine from Feb and May and they were both $43 for sewage and $23 for garbage.

ETA - the one due in May is what I meant

Mine has been 55 total last two months. Water went from 67 two months ago to 33 last month. We have a pool and kids taking lots let’s baths bc they swim everyday.

You pay for sewerage based on your water usage. Is it, perhaps, possible that you were home more over the last two months and used more water than you usually would when you'd save that morning shite for work so you could do it on company time?

BR water is so retarded that you get billed on a 3 month average and not actual use. And their customer service and set up is crap.

I bought a house recently that I haven’t moved in. I got billed for $100 for two weeks of usage. I guess previous owner used a lot of water. I called BR water and they say call back July so there’s 3 months of history for me. And only then I can get a credit.

No arguments here. It's what happens when you hand a family a monopoly.

Imagine paying for water when it’s free out of the tap.

I remember trying to get the account switched to my name. You can’t do it online. I called them and they say bring in proof to purchase and ID. I drove to their location and waited in the drive through. I gave the papers in only to be told that they have to be faxed. It’s in your hands for Christ sake. So he gives me back the paper and I have to drive around town during the shutdown looking for a fax machine. Talk about efficiency.

Moved into our home last year and it boggled my mind that bills are paid through a PDF. Who on God's green earth thought that was a good idea? Eventually I'll get around to calling them and setting up auto pay. Of course when I try to select that option on the PDF, it always gives me an error message.

The pdf is slightly annoying vs paying via a website but I don't want BR Water taking money out of my account without me pushing the button

The OT has always had plenty of trash and shite. It's just more noticeable during the lock down.
