Ate at the one in Mall St Vincent in Shreveport yesterday. Decent crowd, definitely older.

Had three veg (including carrot souffle!) and cornbread with water. The bill was less than $10, plus a tip for April who brings us hot sauce and extra napkins. She's been working there for years, so it must be doing okay.

The lady who prints your receipt at the end of the line has been there for 35+ years.

Friends had baked fish and red beans/rice, and they said theirs was very good.

3 months ago we went with my Uncle and got in trouble for opening the Tabasco peppers jar. The server told me to take it home, and I did

And yet he's still a better President than anything the other side as offered up.

My wife (no pics) still likes to go there for nostalgia sake (and she legit likes the hamburger steak). Every time we go, we are usually the youngest adults there that are not there with senior citizens
husband and I used to go to mid city for quiet lunch when we worked in the area. Senior citizens were not loud and zero chance of coworkers also being there.

Their customers went dead.

I'm surprised they've lasted as long as they have

My grandparents used to go there and most of the customers were about their age. They've been dead for about 18 years.

I loved going to Piccadilly in Monroe as a kid, chopped steak, rice/gravy, cornbread, pie.

Every Time

And some blue or green jello
