This blows my mind. One of my good friends from high school came out our 2nd year at lsu (not a surprise, everyone figured he was gay). He showed us grindr one day and I was appalled. It was unbelievable what goes on on that site.

There's this whole behind the scenes cheating world to which I was totally naive most of my life. It's amazing that it hasn't blown up worse in BR. Everybody is connected, and everybody talks.

I think humans are better now than they've ever been to be honest.

In a word? No.

It confirmed my opinion of the Duggars. I love how Josh is a bigger monster than anyone he has ever openly condemned in his life.

Dude. Look at nature.

That's all we are. Animals. Animals have 1 goal. Reproduce.

That's life.

Jared, Josh Duggar, Ashley Madison folks.....
The world is full of sexual immorality. Maybe it always has been…

Fact is, there are probably four men and their families on the planet that I genuinely trust. Those are the only homes my kids will be allowed to go without me or their mother.

Agreed. I'm totally on the same page as you regarding this.

The thing I hate about all of this is that it is going to destroy a lot of families. The nuclear family is very important. When mom has a new boyfriend every couple months, daughter sees that its okay and does the same thing.

AUjim - I release you from the sig bet if you want to get rid of it. No repeat, Auburn is going to take us this year.

Actually, I was impressed that it was only about <6,000 people in Louisiana who participated. I scrolled through the list and yes, there were movers and shakers on the list, but there were a lot of movers and shakers who weren't on the list.

In a country with a 50% divorce rate, you have to expect that there's going to be a sizable number of douchebags. In that context, only <6k in Louisiana is impressively low.

Ten to one odds that those guys are assholes too. It's just a matter of time before they get exposed.

Personally my faith in humanity was destroyed a couple weeks ago when I found out that CS Lewis was a scumbag. That came out of nowhere.

I can pinpoint the exact moment when I lost faith in humanity.

It was a cold dreary morning on December 17th, 1988 and I had just sat down to enjoy a bowl of Lucky Charms when lo and behold there wasn't a single fricking marshmallow to be found in that entire fricking box.

It hasn't changed my opinion because we all know that it is difficult to honor total fidelity for a lifetime.

It's very difficult, and there are many temptations.

Hats off to those who resist the temptations!

The U.S. doesn't have a 50% divorce rate. That number is derived by people who don't understand math. The formula for that is they take all divorces in a given year and compare them with all marriages in that year. That's not how divorce or marriages work. The correct way to figure out the divorce rate is to take the number of divorces and the number of total marriages without regard to a year. That number is much, much smaller.

According to the Census Bureau, 72% of people are still married to their first spouse. Within the other 28% are widows and widowers, so the rate has to be below 28%. Also, they did a study, if you take out serial divorcers (people who suck at marriage) the divorce rate is miniscule.
