When my company folded they gave me a Subaru. It amazed me how well it did in PNW mountains. I quickly dropped my Jeep to take me up boarding.

They’re actually really great vehicles at this point. Not sure why all the hate because of past marketing campaigns.

I mean, how did that convo take place?

"Hey Cat, look, we're shutting down, but you're a great guy, so here's a Subaru. "

"Um, ok. Thanks, I guess..."

Don't really know why anyone outside snow country would want one.

Damn sure popular there aren't they? Much rather be going through a high snowy pass in a 4 wheel drive Subaru than just about any 4 x 4 truck I have ever owned.

Has no noticeable effect. Whatever the thirst is before, will be the thirst after.

Mrs wanted a subie, I tried to see if she was interested in a girlfriend too...but she's still straight.

Had one for about 3 years, been fine and the mrs likes it. Has some rattles in the interior which drives me nuts.

It is funny to watch the judgement from others when you pull in a subie.

The mrs wants to lift it and put bigger wheels and tires on it.

Its usually the trucks in the ditch. Even with 4WD, those light rear ends dont keep you on the road.

But the normal ones are pretty terrible.

Would love to hear this explanation. They are objectively one of the best, most reliable cars you can own.
