Did Sperry stop putting leather laces in their Topsiders?

As someone who has been wearing Sperrys for 10 years, I'm not happy. I've had my most recent pair (with leather laces) for a couple of years. Now I can't find any. They have the same style, but with the string laces. What in the frick? Not frat.

Frat or not frat they are great boat shoes. I just find they get a little smelly when you wear them too often sans socks- as I always do when fishing. Hope they didn't frick with the laces.

Yea I'm serious. I've never had a bad experience with them 
If you can recommend a better one, let me know. I don't change once I find something that works so I'm prolly way behind on better shoes.

Every pair I've had falls apart quickly. I've had a pair of Allen Edmond boat shoes for about 3 years now and they're in great shape. I just ordered a new pair of AE boat shoes and drivers. Way better than any Sperry I've ever put on my foot.
