Last I looked at Sperry AOs they still had leather laces. You can also buy replacement leather laces for like six bucks.

The original topsiders still have leather laces but the more modern and sporty versions went to different laces a while ago.

Look for a brand called Reel Legends. They make a pretty nice line of boat shoes.

Just bought a new pair. My previous pair lasted 7 years. Still have a pair from 2005. To the OP they still sell some with leather laces. Not sure where you are looking. Go to sperry.com
