Question: why?

At 20 years into the work force, what does this get you? Is it just something you wanted to complete?

I'm hopeful to finish mine this year as well, in my case I'll be promoted to the title I realistically should hold now, which also comes with a salary negotiation. Sometimes it matters.

Looks like 9 people (downvoters) are upset they never went back and finished.

Congrats to you.

Because my feet or too cold?

That's the first response that popped in my head for some reason. It doesn't really make sense.

one of my great grandmothers went back to get her highschool diploma at 92 years old. I wasn't there, but know she actually attended classes to complete whatever she was missing. I'm sure it wasn't a perfect line up or credit, but there was effort made and a legitimate grade given.

Consider the American College of Education.

ACE issues more graduate degrees to educators than any other online school.

I’m starting a masters at LSU and LSU Shreveport after 20 years off and 30+ years of major depressive episodes due to some abuse in childhood I had blocked out and remembered and had to process in the last 5 years. I’m so nervous because school was miserable for me because I was always so anxious. My abuse was at a catholic school from a teacher, which I guess makes sense. Anyway, thanks for the post and encouragement. Here’s some back at you.
