It's likely the reason they're failing. There's so many good BBQ places now that there's no reason to go to a fast food BBQ place.

I have a friend who worked in corporate in Dallas. He only last ~6 months and said it was the worst professional experience of his life. He had zero positive things to say.
Also, the food is crap. So greasy and expensive. I ate there once a year ago and never again.

I like it, I can go in and get a big arse tea.

And a choice of meat. ALmost anytime of the day.
Is it the best? NO
Is the meat Real? Yeh
Is it a little expensive? Yes
Ive only eaten there 4x last year.
But is it still good for 15.00. Yah
Its perfect for my large obease wife. Who cant seem to stop freaking eating.

I had no idea Dickey's had 500 stores. I had never even heard of them until about 2 months ago.

As a New Orleanian, I tend to not like large national chain/casual dining-type places. Yet, we like Dickey's, up to a point.
It is consistently edible. It's not the best barbecue with the best meats available, certainly. But it's not disgusting as many here assert. It's good in greater New Orleans as there are only a few good barbecue joints, and none are close to where we live save for a location of VooDoo.
