Why?

No one knows if ya got $30, $300, or $3,000 in your bag/wallet until they snatch it.

As long as you aren't carrying more than you can afford to lose, who cares?

I'd be more concerned losing my meds, personally.

If you carry around 3 large with zero purpose behind it then you deserve to get robbed.

Its unnecessary risk.

And apartment keys. They know where she lives, but they'd be stupid to show up there.

No one knows what you have til it gets snatched.

What is the line you draw at carrying an unnecessary amount of cash? Couple hundred? A grand? None?

Idiot

ETA: Maybe you’ll get this. In your case it would be a pic of a twig.

I know three people who routinely keep over $2K-$4K on their person at all times. They definitely can afford to lose it if that happens. Just depends on your lifestyle. They put it in a wallet and money clip so its not all in one spot on them.

What a complete horseshite post and typical of the kind of work this poster does.

They just happen to know three people who carry large amounts of cash and all three just happen to keep part of it in a money clip and part of it in their wallet so it's not all in one place....

Laughable

$4-500 seems pretty reasonable to me. $3000 definitely seems excessive to me but I don’t really give a frick about what other people want to do with their money. My best guess would be that she carries that much around because she is required to travel at a moments notice, sometimes to foreign countries where maybe she doesn’t want to or has been advised by the Secret Service not to use her personal credit card while out of the country for security reasons.
