It rained pretty hard last night in the Uptown area and it was apparently terrible this weekend. I'm glad I'm isolated from the dangerous stuff if I'm inside.

Yeah the storm woke me up. Nobody at work today even knew it rained though

I just hope I don’t lose anymore trees. The storms from two weeks ago costed me $1,500 to get them out of my yard.

The big arse oak tree from that house I posted is still laying on their yard. Im willing to bet people will be bitching about that soon.

SW of Fort Worth here - high winds and lightening last night. We have big plans tonight (anniversary) - will probably be out during the worst.

It’s hot as frick today too. The wind could be a big issue again.

I now avoid connecting through DFW and IAH at all costs.

Seems like every other day there is a 2 hour ground hold due to tstorms and you get fricked.

Doesnt happen nearly as often in ATL

Preach... I moved here from South LA thinking I was coming to a place that is dry and sunny(although hot) all of the time, but it seems to rain every other weekend here.

give it a few weeks, you'll be begging, not for a thunderstorm, but for just a cloud

4 months of hot as balls, 4 months of ice storms, 4 months of tornados.

October 15-18 is gorgeous though. Makes living there worth it.
