This has nothing to do with kid safety. Especially since most are learning “virtually.”

No they aren’t. Most are back in school. At least the younger public schools will be come Monday and all the private schools have been back in the classroom.

Anyone else think it’s ridiculous we still have school zones when no kids walk to school anymore? Especially in a covid situation Where you have to pre screen kids in the car with those effective temperature scanners. There is a speed trap on Napoleon near where it becomes broad (Andrew Wilson) is 3 blocks in towards downtown. In 13 years I’ve never seen one kid crossing Napoleon to go to school.

Welp, looks like I'll be taking I10 all the way to and from the Superdome exit for work Monday through Friday. This, as opposed to the City Park exit regardless if I have a little extra time to kill and drive around sipping coffee before work.
