I agree. Highly doubt her first time straying away was with some kid there had to be some other instances before that
From the comments I read on nola.com it looks as if the father-in-law judge may be telling/paying the husband to do nothing until she is formally charged with a crime

Some people just have no shame. With her father being in the position that he is she is probably confident (whether its wise or not) that she may be off the hook. Or at the very least not going to prison
