Nah. He ought to be a sacrificial lamb along with the other 3. Tough but we need to calm people down right now.
Yeah let’s appease the people tearing this country down and burning it down. Anything else we can do for them?

The guy was clearly subdued and not resisting at that point
And it will be hard to say he was still resisting when he was picked up off the ground dead.
He obviously stopped resisting at some point.

He isn’t being convicted on murder if an unbiased jury is out there. You can’t prove intent.
You might be able to prove negligible homicide/involuntary manslaughter. In my opinion, that’s where prosecutors have to go with this.
But I’m not an attorney. I also know the charges will be more political than proper application.

You don’t have to prove intent for murder 3

Well, this thread is about his defense. You too stupid to follow along?

You think the riots are bad now?
He has no defense. At. All

I agree on that point. But a good defense attorney will have enough to establish a strong case.

The most difficult part of his action to explain away will be the ~3 minutes he held his position after the other officer found no pulse assuming that is fact.
He was also charged with 2nd degree manslaughter.

I know this, if he has a legit defense and is found not guilty, the shite we've seen for the last week or so will pale in comparison to the shite storm that will ensue after the verdict.

Police cannot act until a crime has happened (in theory). If George had broken a law, and the cop was following procedure, then there is not much he can be charged with.
It's not going to help him that one of the other cops asked if they should turn him on his side and Chauvin told him "no" and that he was staying put. And that same cop then mentioned being worried about him having excited delirium (which in a small % of cases can lead to death). Again, the charged cop said "that's why we have him on his stomach." Also, after the cop checked for a pulse and found none, Chauvin still held his position on the guy's neck for another two minutes or so. Not good.

You mf pussies are a real piece of scum work! Sad shite.

I agree on those points. Just looking from the defense attorneys POV.

He's not going to walk. But the edgy anti-cop lynch mob on here better be prepared that a 1st Degree Murder conviction may not happen. Manslaughter will most likely be the charge.
Jurors are human, too. Your potential jury pool nationwide is already tainted with these riots. The radical Left is going to dox these jurors (it's going to happen). After they receive direct and indirect threats to convict it doesn't matter what the facts are; they'll convict him of something.

I have read all of your posts in this thread.
Based on those posts, you don't seem to be very well informed.
Please tell me more about the continuum of force training that you have had and your experiences in applying it.
Maybe you have some experience in defending those that have applied the training they have received. I would definitely like to hear about that!
