Prosecutor is pissed that the witness said " yes he"( Floyd) was resisting even after being in handcuffs.

Bet when you used the gif of " Big Show" knocking out David you were not aware that the Big Show comes from a law enforcement family. His mom is a cop in the town next to where I live.

I want to say that was part of the storyline when Big Show was a babyface in a feud with the Big Bossman (RIP)

which included Bossman towing away a casket at "Big Show's dad's funeral"

All this talk of Chauvin's knee on the "back" of Floyd's neck. What happened to being on the side of the neck that killed him?

As for this upper back issue it's almost as if the upper back goes all the way to where Chauvin's knee is at in this picture. If anything it's on Floyd's Trapezius not his neck.

Why doesn’t Nelson object? He keeps asking the same stuff in different ways.

That's the one big issue I've had with Nelson throughout the trial. He has let to much shite be said without arguing.

Not quite sure I get the State's point here. George Floyd was tired from struggling with police and intoxicated so Chauvin should've known he was killing him? Isn't the defense's entire argument that Floyd caused his own death because of things like that and without Floyd resisting or having massive amounts of drugs in his system he would still be alive?

I guess they are trying to say that Chauvin acted unreasonably but I don't see it based on everything else so far in the trial.

ETA: But not a good witness for the defense.

How could you not know whether alcohol is associated with positional asphyxia? It’s likely the number one factor.

After doing so well on cross the first 2 weeks Nelson has really struggled today with his witnesses. I don't think there has been a single good one for the Defense today.

not sure what you are allowed to answer as a witness...but in the two videos he showed the police expert, the witness had two opportunities to blow up the narrative - in the first video it shows Floyd kicking at the cops / in the second video even with all of Chauvin's wait on his neck/back he is raising his right should several inches off the ground

its pointing out a reasonable officer would understand the mountain of risk factors increasing asphyxia a d would have used the recovery position as they were trained to do instead of maintaining use of force for minutes after GF was unconscious and not breathing. remember his colleagues were being more reasonable and were lobbying to switch to that position.

Yea...like I've been saying for about a week, I feel like the prosecution has done enough in some peoples mind to get the conviction on manslaughter. It's going to be up to the jurors to decide if Chauvin basically "let him die" by not moving him or getting off when he was unconscious. In my mind, the defense had some work to do there, and have not done it thus far.

My bet is guilty 2nd degree manslaughter. Gets 2 years and serves 1

People still riot

Well, it took the prosecution an hour to get the witness to say “it could” 25 times.
Nelson, will probably ask two questions on redirect.
