For some reason, the way Blackwell questions a witness annoys the shite out of me.

He clearly writes down the questions and reads them word for word. It makes it the testimony very scripted and less genuine.

Last week she literally said "that's not a very good question" after she asked something.

So she admits she is making her rulings based off of watching a video.

Have any of the experts explained why GF couldn’t breathe when he was sitting in the back of the police car?

The State is only going to call expert witnesses that agree with their theory of the case.

And they had to go to Ireland to get one.

Good point. There had to be a reason but I haven’t heard it explained.

IMO the prosecution is avoiding that topic.

I think Nelson is also avoiding it because why should he let the prosecution expert come up with some excuse.

I think it’s smarter to let the defense expert bring it up and then the prosecution can try to disprove the expert on cross which probably won’t happen.

At that point the prosecution doesn’t have anymore witnesses to explain it. Smart strategy if that is what they are doing

He did bring it up yesterday and asked if the Irish pulmonologist heard Floyd say he couldn't breathe prior to being on the ground but that was it.

Dr now saying he would not expect any bruising or marks. Related to no bruising or marks after sitting on his butt for an hour at church.

That doesn't make sense. Your butt is used to being sat on for long periods of time, your neck isn't.

Did the defense ever ask the Dr. why GF couldn't breathe while in the patrol car?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that caught this. You don't have to be a doctor to know how incredibly stupid of a comparison that is.

So he died from something unobservable from an autopsy. Sounds believable.
