yes you certainly can compress the hypopharynx below the hyoid bone. have you ever heard of cricoid pressure? it is certainly possible to compress the hypopharynx with a small amount of force, it has clinical utility, and does not fracture the hyoid bone.
Hahahaha just WOW
Are you confused about the fact that air goes down the trachea and food goes down the esophagus?
Because you are demonstrating my point. The purpose of cricoid pressure is to use the hard round structure of the trachea to compress the soft esophagus so prevent regurgitation during intubation.
You are proving my point that the hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage are hard structures that don’t compress.

Keep deflecting your blatant racism because Chauvin is white. So are you a white apologist progressive racist, or are you just the run of the mill black racist?

It normally gives that response when IT loses a debate.

“Have you ever heard of cricoid pressure”
Yea the pressure you apply with a finger, not a 140 pound man like the prosecution is claiming. Strong argument

What area of the hypopharynx was compressed without breaking any cartilage or bones?
Hangings put a concentrated pressure on the larynx typically around or below the level of the thyroid cartilage and most commonly present without fractures of bone or cartilage or hemorrhage of the muscle at autopsy. While hanging deaths are mostly due to restricted blood flow, they also cause asphyxia by airway compression.
A knee would cause the force to be spread out over an even greater area.

what are you smoking? cricoid pressure has absolutely nothing to do with prevention of regurgitation during intubation, it manipulates the airway for vizualization.
It has multiple purposes, I only stated that because you keep saying something is compressed. Maybe you should consult Wikipedia. Literally the first paragraph on cricoid pressure....
quote:
Cricoid pressure, also known as the Sellick manoeuvre or Sellick maneuver, is a technique used in endotracheal intubation to try to reduce the risk of regurgitation. The technique involves the application of pressure to the cricoid cartilage at the neck, thus occluding the esophagus which passes directly behind it.
What else should we discuss?

Cricoid pressure should not be confused with the "BURP" (Backwards Upwards Rightwards Pressure) manoeuvre, which is used to improve the view of the glottis during laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation, rather than to prevent regurgitation.

That’s interesting, what rope only compresses the neck from just one side?

I'm honestly curious about your irrational hatred of white people.
What did a white person do to you to make you automatically assume they're guilty?

Again. Show me a rope that compresses on one side of the neck.
Chauvin’s knee was on one side of the neck right?
Again, I’m playing along that the knee was on the side. We know it was on the back most of the time.
