This was a +1 for prosecution in my opinion. Like I said, Nelson might have been better leaving this guy alone.
Especially now the DA team getting this redirect.
Dr now saying he would not expect any bruising or marks. Related to no bruising or marks after sitting on his butt for an hour at church.
Prosecution case will likely revolve around this guy moving forward

Also, that DC wasn’t qualified to determine gf was oxygen deprived.

I know. But being able to undercut the court of public opinion is nice.

he just got the pulmonologist to admit the fentanyl was at its peak when Floyd stopped breathing.
But also said he would expect other signs if it was fentanyl ...including a coma, which GF was never in

Good catch. The prosecution lawyer is standing further away from the microphone and speaking very quickly and he understands every word and question. Nelson comes back up and his bad hearing suddenly returns.

Because he’s the prosecution’s witness so he knows exactly what he’s going to be asked because they’ve gone over it and he’s been asked those questions before. With cross examination, he’s having to answer questions on the fly. It’s not some grand conspiracy.

in my court experience(not a lawyer,) when the witness starts the squinting, head bobbing, maybe putting their hand to their ear as if they can't hear, they are getting uncomfortable, getting backed up on their heels a bit

I'm curious if he can know that for certain with the available data?
I'm sure Nelson wanted to consult with his teams medical expert prior to asking that particular question.

Pretty sure he was in a comatose state right before medical arrived. He was dead, but still alive iirc.

You could counter with why you think the defense was effective in that exchange instead of trying to insult me. Seems to me you are just a mindless biased cheerleader for the defense and got your feelings hurt someone said that one exchange and witness went poorly for them

The feed is meaningless. People watching the feed won't be deciding the case.
The end result of this trial in today’s climate is far from meaningless to many Americans. Derek was convicted of murder by knee to neck from jump street.

Based on what I saw they would be stupid not to. He was far and away their best witness and the most damaging to the defense.
