So at first it was Maurice Hall is going to be george floyds voice- he pled the 5th then the gf out him as the drug dealer.
Then it was" drugs didn't kill him Chauvins knee on the neck for over 9 minutes did"- now its " the police should have medically helped floyd they should have known he was on drugs".
The case has fallen apart and the liberals will soon be screaming.

They are shooting themselves in the foot. It’s like they take one step forward then 2 steps back.

The jury should be sequestered. You know they are going home and watching a replay of the trial with all of the spin provided by the various hosts.

What are the general cliffs from today?

Not only do they keep failing, they don’t event come remotely close. Their questioning is all over the place. It’s very drawn out and never results in a good point.
Somehow all they do is produce witnesses that create more doubt than existed before they were questioned.
Yea, I get the impression that Nelson's cross exams always neutralize what they are saying for the state. Nelson is good at leading the witnesses down a path where they end up contradicting the same point they made for the state. Would you agree?

Yes but to be fair, it doesn't even seem that hard for him. The prosecution is just not doing a very good job of telling me how Chauvin murdered George Floyd.

After that hiccup this morning where the judge suspected that, I doubt it. My mom had jury duty when I was in high school and she wouldn't even answer my questions about the case and I was living at home. Most likely those people on the jury are paranoid the court or FBI is watching what they have on their TV or computer and they don't wanna frick anything up

It's a lose-lose. Lose that the jurors are being fed all information by CNN, etc. Lose if they were holed up away from people for months.
IMO, this trial should NOT be televised and the lawyers, witnesses, etc shoukd be given a gag order.

Should have if not there already

Ed Zachary. He buys them a few drinks, makes them laugh, negotiates the deed, loads them in the truck, brings them home, bangs them, showers them up, calls them an Uber, then moves on to the next, prettier one.
The Chief that was so determined to screw Chauvin, the lawyer cannot even remember his name now.

And every time they see it they will remember today and the split screen showing the bystanders angle and the cop cam angle. Nelson destroyed the " his knee was on his neck the whole time for over 9 minutes " bullshite.

You haven't seen Nelson put on his defense case yet.
BUT, I'm calling it now, Maurice Hall will be subpoenaed and have to testify, Nelson is going to ask him questions he's going to plead the Fifth to, and he's going to keep pleading the Fifth over and over but Nelson will keep asking different questions damaging the states case

Defense attorney put a beat down on the police chief

I wouldn’t say it was a beat down. But he definitely clipped his nuts.

!!!
Did you see the part near the end of the prosecutions questions to the chief where they showed chief the first pic of Floyd on the ground, with his tounge stuck out, and the state asked chief, something to the effect of, " does your dept teach having someone in that position for 9:29?" but he wasn't in that position for 9:29, it was a still shot, yet the state asked it, and the chief answered the question as if that was Floyds position the whole time. I'm not sure why Nelson or the court didn't object

Can he do that?... I thought I heard hear that Hall can tell judge he will plead fifth to all questions and therefore won’t have to be out on stand?
Hope that’s not true cuz think asking him question after question where he pleads fifth every time would be great

I don't know about Minnesota law so you might be right. My best guess is he will be subpoenaed. He might not even show up or be found if he is. He might be in jail now for something else and the police can escort him to court.
Posted on 4/5/21 at 8:59 pm to carguymatt
He won't be questioned over and over.
Posted on 4/6/21 at 8:51 am to Tigers0891
They're arguing Hall's testimony right now
