In which training seminar is the Chief trained to call a knee on the shoulder blade a knee on the neck? And the drug addled criminal's facial expression denotes foot lbs. of pressure?

Also, Does he use a clove hitch to tie his officers up before tossing them under the Greyhound?

Big because it completely nulls the police chief testimony of knee to the neck being deadly force.

Because the police chief hates white people due to perceived racial discrimination directed against him by the Minneapolis PD.

Maybe I missed something but what did officer Blackwell actually offer to the testimony?

That the restraint used by Chauvin was improvised and not trained.

ETA: Which is why Nelson asked about there being part-time trainers and the number of documents subpoenaed.

So what? Even if he broke protocol....that's not what killed GF....the defense needs to keep hammering that what killed GF was the amount of drugs in his system called him to overdose and

quote:

Drug asphyxia
Asphyxiation, also known as asphyxia, broadly speaking is the term used to describe the loss of consciousness or death due to the lack of oxygen. Within the context of addiction, we tend to associate asphyxiation with a drug overdose or alcohol poisoning.

The prosecution is trying to drive the narrative that the breaking of protocol is the reason he is dead so they have to counter that narrative. The defense has already made drugs an issue and it hasn't even been their turn.

It's called a hobble and it's level of force is dependent on department policy

So from what bits I could catch it seems the prosecution is doing a really, really bad job. Am I being crazy by maybe thinking they are tanking this on purpose?

I haven’t been watching but has there been an estimate on how long this trial will last?

It always seemed like this was a really weak case.

Before the trial they said they expect it to go 1 month.

Yeah iirc, they have over 50,000 pieces of evidence - if mistaken, still a large amount

I’m not saying it was a great day for the defense, but the HLN panel is somewhat changing their tune.

At least they have one member saying the state is not meeting the burden for the two most serious charges.

The rest are still cheerleading.
