The muscles that constrict the pupils are controlled by the brain stem. If the eyes are fixed and dilated, it's a sign of brain death.

Dilated are going to mean that stimulants, hallucinogens, or cannabis was psychoactive.
Constricted means a narcotic analgesic was psychoactive.

but theres dolts like geauxmedic who needed to be explained that .000000011 is much smaller than 002. Along with usage of those values to entirely incorrect concepts like lethal dose vs blood concentration. its tough to reason with folks who are so poorly informed on the topic being discussed.

CNS Stimulants like Methamphetamine dilates the pupils. Opiods constrict the pupils.

With heroin overdose, pupils will be pinpoint, with meth dialated. If brain dead they will be dilated and unresponsive to light. You also don't want to see one pupil dilated and the other pinpoint.
