Goddamn, I cannot believe I missed this gem.
By this logic, a person who is shot in the face with a shotgun died from cardiac arrest because their heart stopped after being shot in the face.
Sounds fricking retarded, huh?
So there’s a lot of discussion about the term cardiac arrest.
Cardiac arrest is considered a “mechanism of death” as opposed to a “cause of death.” Physicians will often incorrectly only put “cardiac arrest” on death certificates, but all it means is that the heart stopped beating. If they doctors would read the instructions, they would see that the death certificate specifically states not to use the term, or similar terms like cardiopulmonary arrest on the death certificate.
The medical examiner using it on Floyd’s death certificate is honestly a bit of a cop out, but still considered acceptable because he goes on to explain what factors he thinks caused the heart to stop.

Goddamn, some people are fricking stupid. The only people who absolutely need that much of a heroin habit are jazz musicians.

IGNORE THE AUTOPSY. EVERYONE STOPS BREATHING AND EVERYONE'S HEART STOPS WHEN THEY DIE

To add to this, do you think all of these seasoned heroin addicts have been dying in record numbers with fentanyl in their system over the past five years because they thought they were getting their regular heroin?

Wrong again fake doctor.
nice try but you sorely lack data interpretation skills. from your same article anesthesia uses fentanyl 10-20ng in the setting of multiple substances (polysubstance).
quote:
Blood concentrations of approximately 7 ng/ml or greater have been associated with fatalities where poly-substance use was involved.
yea thats no suprise dude. cancer patients get fentanyl and die.
any death occurring during surgery that falls within the 10-20 ng range for anesthesia.
pretend for a minute that you believe GF did not OD, he was shot and killed by a gang member instead. that would count as a fentanyl associated with a fatality.
that doesn't at all mean all of those situations are overdose deaths

There’s definitely an issue when using more powerful opioids and then cutting them with other substances. You can end up with poorly mixed batches that vary greatly in potency.

Holy shite you are a fricking idiot. There’s no way you are a doctor of any kind. My post literally says what it means. This isn’t a clinical setting, it’s on the street.

Wut? You think heroin addicts are doing chemical analysis on their heroin?
Or are you saying a drug dealer would never cut their product with a more powerful drug to boost the effect and keep the junkies coming back?
I'm not understanding what you're getting at.

yea I must have forgotten the old wisdom that when someone is having trouble breathing the best move is put them in a position making it harder to breath and then restrict their chest wall excursion.
Yah, that's some serious CNN type spin you have in your talking point..
I missed police training day as well on what to with a handcuffed drug addict who refuses to stay in the police vehicle...

I'm making a joke about the longstanding history of heroin use in the jazz community.

Are you really trying to equate a clinical setting to stuff off the street? There is a reason anesthesiologists get paid so much. One very minor frick up and the patient is dead.

AMS believes the world is a textbook.

lmao found a poster that doesn't know the difference in LD50 and blood concentration, nor the difference in ng vs mg. 11ng refers to floyds blood concentration 2 mg refers to avg lethal dose. FYI Dosage =/= blood concentration, and ng is 3 decimal places below mg
Are you an NP or CRNA? You come across as having enough knowledge to think you sound smart but it still not being enough to mask your insecurities.

AMS...claims recreational drug use isn't cause of death....he hangs his hat on medical examiners data sheet

He’s clearly not a doctor either

Gotcha. I just wasn't expecting the history of jazz musicians and their opioid addictions to be brought up.
But you're correct.

That’s really what you think is being referenced here? Really???
Maybe we should look for a similar claim about caffein, because lord knows thousands of people every year die not long after that first cup of Joe.

Definitely doesn’t have the rhetoric close to a real doctor, but who knows with the people they admit these days for social reasons

He has been doing it for two nights.
