I think I might have saw this on a TV show so I have no idea how accurate this is. Are some prisons really like that? You have to join a gang to survive and its all racially divided? The whites with the whites, brothers with the brothers, Latinos with Latinos? I wonder what people from other races do? Like if someone is Chinese or from the middle east, etc?

Most states have separate prisons for LEOs convicted of crimes. Louisiana has David Wade Correctional in Homer. I'd bet that Minnesota has the same thing, but sent Chauvin to gen pop at a regular state facility out of spite.

Actually, he’s serving his sentence in a Federal medium secuirty prison in Arizona. It’s known for staff shortages and shitty security.
I would honestly think of suicide before being Chauvin living in any prison for 20 years
