This is the way it should be. Businesses should be able to serve and decline service to whomever they want. But unfortunately, that rule is never applied equally. I'm sure it'll be fine for these people to do this to the cops but if they do the same to some whiny gay, the place would be sued for $1 million in "emotional damage ".
It is. The only difference would be that I'd expect this owner to cave in to negative publicity. When Christian restaurant owners discriminate against gays, they tend to see it as a morale issue, and stick to their guns. Which while dumb, I respect them having the balls to stand up for what they believe in.

Love that movie
I hated it when it came out. But when I rewatched it, it's pretty good. But with the Coen brothers and that cast, my expectations were unrealistic.

Because Colorado has a law saying uR discriminate people based on sexual orientation.
Problem with that is the example people are referencing wasn't about serving gays, it was making a cake for a gay wedding. That very same couple that sued was also a previous customer.

What if the store owner was a Christian? Do these same rules apply?
Outside of some very specific industries, yes it should still apply.

100% yes.
This is how it should be.
And customers can choose not to go as a result.
This needs to apply to everyone.

And people should be allowed to hope the place is fricked by armed robbers.

4 or 5 cop cars should park there everyday with their lights flashing so people think it's a crime scene and no one else comes eat there either

What if he requested that black people no longer eat there because customers did not like them eating there?

I totally agree. But let me ask this.
If I asked all blacks to not come to my business anymore, based on the fact that the *POS Alton Sterling tried to kill cops* and he was black, would people defend my right as a private business owner? I highly doubt it.
*it doesn't matter if you agree with my feelings about Sterling. I don't agree with their opinion on police, but I
respect their rights.
ETA: Jcorye1 this isn't direct at you specifically. It's a general question for the thread.
