If I’m being honest, I guess it is really where Carver ultimately dropped Madi off, when he said he was gonna bring her home, that makes me a bit critical of his account of what happened. The fact that the coroner found anal injuries makes me question whether there was true consent, as it was explained by Carver, as well.

To my knowledge Carver never said it was true consent..if fact the opposite. He stated he felt uncomfortable with what was occurring in the back seat and at some point put a stop to it. When the detective asked him if she was too drunk to consent...he said I guess.

As far as them "giving her an offer she couldn't refuse", I mean, it's plausible. She likely would have been no physical match for one of them, let alone 2 of them.
However, since she isn't around to say what happened in her own words, we might never know EXACTLY what happened unless some evidence to that effect is uncovered or one of the perps admit to it
