I watched Casen’s Tiktoks before he made his account private. He had a hoodie on exactly like that a lot. Don’t read too much into it.
Re: the truck/car thing. I thought at the very beginning they were saying it happened in the back of the truck.

We are an internet collective that solves crimes and murders.
Are you pro-rapist? You like seeing LSU girls dead and spread across international media?
If you're opposed to that, help or get out of the way.
Thank you.

Right. And he’s routinely been punked by Holden in this thread (who I also think is weird)

Judge is a lawyer and has explained that he's an insomniac. Passes time by keeping us in line. I appreciate his contributions and perspective.

You’re seeing this on Facebook. Think that’s a representative sample? Think that’s how it actually plays out?
Put it another way. You ever say things here you wouldn’t say in front of people?

Ha! Probably.
I like to take deep dives on narrow topics. This one has my interest.

I had the same thoughts as you, as well as the questions you posed later in this thread. I too, stopped the video at 1:24 and noticed (and screen shot) what appears to be Burbank road (assumed because car going by at fast clip) Google Maps is not cooperating with me though as there has been so much development in the area over the past year. And excellent catch to whomever noticed the different sides of the vehicle exit. Perhaps this was indicative of the 'taking turns'(she was pulling up pants in both)and this isn't Burbank at all but somewhere near Tigerland? I tried to find a clock on the dashboard but couldn't locate one.
I do think ALL of this video is CYA. I think it indicates that they KNEW what they were doing was wrong and they were already putting together a defense in case of future rape charges.

Not sure what rock you live under, but to pretend that black people don't now have a license to say publicly (fb) exactly how they feel is disingenuous.
White folks are the only group where you don't know exactly how they feel because they're held responsible for their publicly expressed views and opinions.
This is just the truth.

And you’ve held back because of that?

And I'm curious what point the defense was trying to make by releasing this video?? And were these 5 second clips the best proof of whatever point they were trying to make?? In other words, this clip doesn't show any consent whatsoever, and it is so brief that I wonder if the remaining video is so incriminating that these were the only 10 combined seconds of footage that were appropriate for release.

To show she was conscious and to support their ridiculous narrative that she was mean to Casen.

I believe the defense was gambling that by releasing this video it might persuade the family to not move forward with prosecution and the specter of a publuc trial. They know if this goes to trial and the prosecution gets their hands on all of the video and text evidence from that night and the following days, combined with the initial statments and denials from the defendants, their goose is cooked.

Across the way from Pelican Lakes is a wooden fence that cuts off noise (and foot traffic) from Burbank.
It is NOT the structure seen in the video.
Which raises the question: was Madison "dropped off" twice? First wherever this video was taken - and it doesn't appear to be any location on Burbank. She, perhaps, realizes she has no phone to "Uber" and gets back in the vehicle?
For sure, it was a CYA attempt but Casen knew he didn't want to be seen on the video and covered up.
The original may be 'higher res' if a recent model smart phone and the clock could be located.
IF this video was taken nowhere near where Madison was run over, how did she get to that location?
How did she exit the car from two directions? (That was the 'find of the day' btw by a TD sleuth. Thanks for that.)
There's more in the video defense lawyers handed over to prosecutors. We can only go by what we have here and it seems to have a lot.
Listen to the audio (not in synch with the video) where Madison mentions "Uber" - she's looking away from the camera phone but the audio doesn't decrease in volume at all.
I think that was in the longer video - or other video - they had and they edited it all together to create this false narrative: she wanted out, said she was going to Uber, we let her out, she was fine at the time.
But it's not adding up...

But if they had this as a 'card to play'... they played it.
They've already publicly smeared Madison in international press now with a press conference and later press interview. How else can they demean her more than they've already done?
I think this backfired spectacularly.
Folks have to remember this is one of 1,000 cases the investigators and DA has - maybe several thousand.
The 'hive mind' here can analyze the data over and over and find things a busy prosecutor never could.

Flaming or roasting is the act of posting insults, often including profanity or other offensive language, on the internet.[1] This term should not be confused with the term trolling, which is the act of someone going online, or in person, and causing discord. Flaming emerged from the anonymity that Internet forums provide cover for users to act more aggressively.[2] Anonymity can lead to disinhibition, which results in the swearing, offensive, and hostile language characteristic of flaming. Lack of social cues, less accountability of face-to-face communications, textual mediation and deindividualization are also likely factors.[3] Deliberate flaming is carried out by individuals known as flamers, which are specifically motivated to incite flaming. These users specialize in flaming and target specific aspects of a controversial conversation.

Now, who would be motivated to derail a constructive conversation?
You do know family, friends, and investigators are all reading this thread? Right?
Including defense lawyers, the perps, and their family friends?
So, sure I'm a clown. I'm the Joker.
But I'm also Batman...

It's not up to the family to press charges in a violent crime, its the DA's decision as a representative of the state. If/when it goes to trial, it'll be the State of Louisiana vs Kaivon Williams (or whatever his name is), not Madison Brooks' Family vs K Williams.
